I've double-crocheted around all of the squares now and am busy joining them together in strips of 5 (just 5 more to go) then I'll join them all together.
Then I'm going to do some sort of edging but I'm not sure what yet. I've got plenty of the brown chenille left so that will be the main colour but I may introduce a stripe in a bright colour for added interest. We'll see.
I'd better have a look through my notebook and pattern collection and Nicky Epstein's book for inspiration.
I've always had a soft spot for granny squares as they look so jolly!
